Main rotor blades
Apart from the helicopters Rostvertol PLC produces main rotor blades for MI-24 (35); MI-28; MI-26 and MI-2 helicopters types.
Main rotor blades for MI-28N and MI-35M helicopter models:
Main rotor blade is made, using composite materials and comprises respective spar, tail section and respective electro-thermal anti-icing strip.
Main stress structural element of the blade is its spar, which forms nose portion of said blade.
It is made, using unidirectional glass strips spiral winding techniques upon special binding compound. Tail portion of the blade consists of suitable polymeric cellular filler and organic glass skin, being stuck thereto.

Having all-metal structure, said main rotor blade consists of respective spar, blade butt and tail section. This blade is fitted with electric anti-icing system and with air spar damage warning system.
The blade spar is milled of pressed alloy preform
Tail section of the blade consists of metallic foil filler and skin, made of avial.

This spar has steel tubular structure with variable cross-section length and wall thickness.
Tail portion of the blade consists of suitable polymeric cellular filler, metallic foil and skin, being made of glass-fiber plastic and being stuck thereto.
